Hey Wayne, thanks for the inspiring look at the Mazda2.

A couple of things came to mind when you mentioned the low gearing. Is it possible to change the gearing and if not, what about larger wheels and tires?

I know on an F-150 I had it was geared the other way and we changed the gearing in the rear end from 3.73 I believe to 4.10 and it made a huge difference in the acceleration and I could use the 5th gear overdrive without bogging the engine.

Thanks again Wayne. I hope to see another review on the Mazda2 sometime soon with a modified final gear ratio.
