Thanks for the input, Wayne. I am aware of break in periods and "methods" having owned motorcycles for nearly 40 yrs, however, this bike is a dog. I hope to rejet it as with the FMF pipe it's backfiring a bit, so it could prob use one up on the idle and one or two on the run jet.

I got mine out the door with tags for $4300 and it has dropped considerably in price as dealers with inventory are desperate to sell. I should have held out for a Yamaha 650, higher quality and FI, nearly 32 horses. If it turns out after rejeting that it can cruise to work at 65 and still give me decent FE, I will keep it.

The "new" gearing really made a difference so I imagine a rejet and possibly a 340cc kit will give this bike some real pep. Anyway, it is fun to ride, and handles very well. Best,
