Re: Hyundai sees 10% mpg gain from its first direct-injection engine

Re: Chevrolet at the LA Autoshow

Re: Chevrolet at the LA Autoshow

Sounds like this car will offer similar fuel economy to the current 2.0 engine in the VW TDI cars?

Re: GM to put electric Cadillac Converj into production

LOL!

Re: Honda Prices its all-new 2010 Accord Crosstour - Starts at $29,670

This will fit for those who want something with the power of the V6 but not quite the ugly Pilot box. An AWD accord that stands a but taller. Will sell like hotcakes in the northeast. Expect to see...

Re: Acura TSX Sport Wagon arrives in the fall of 2010

Americans don't like Acura because it's entire lineup is lacking. Polarizing styling combined with old engines and lacking technology.

Re: GM to cut 70% of its Cadillac Dealerships

Most dealers selling Caddies sell the other GM brands as well. Even if the name drops off they still stay open.

Re: GM to cut 70% of its Cadillac Dealerships

Sounds like a logical move. In a world where Lexus is adding day spa to dealerships GM needs to ditch the group Caddy/Chevy/GMC dealership. Escalade buyers should not be rubbing elbows with trash...

Re: Auto makers rethink luxury lines

Most high end car buyers will still find shortcoming in smaller cars. Leather seats in Focus isn't going to sway someone from a BMW.

Re: 3.5L ecoboost vs. conventional

The EPA #'s for the boosted Flex are not going to impress anyone here. The focus is not FE for Ford. The goal with the Flex is offer superior acceleration with fuel economy on par to rival 7-seaters....

Re: Nissan engineers tweaking Vehicles to meet Cash-for-Clunkers requirements

The cube already gets 28 mpg city according to EPA. Shocking for a box.

Re: Viper dirtiest car in UK: Insight the Greenest

Considering how popular the Challenger was in Italy i'd bet on a large following of people in the UK who look at the Viper as eye candy.

New use for E85 - Ethanol injection EcoBoost engines

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4427098

Possible good future use for Ethanol. Not such a wasted fuel after all if Ford can bring this to the truck market in a few years.

They'll probably be aimed at taking business from luxury vehicles that big engines. A 20 MPG ML is better than a Range Rover. Since Europeans are starting to pay tolls & taxes on emissions a diesel...

Thanks Wayne.

From the pics I've seen off the car pickups there are three alloy wheel types. Made me wonder if different trim levels were handed out.
