Re: HF 2008 MPG Challenge Results

I saw that, but again, since all of us were shooting for 51 minutes instead of 46, those were only a generic guide for us. If instead, saying, to make 51 minutes, you should be at this turn by X...

Re: HF 2008 MPG Challenge Results

One thing I would've liked to have seen was an unadjusted results board. All the numbers that appeared on the board were with the time penalties already applied.

Re: More car buyers eyeing gas mileage

Funny...

Re: Hybrid Politics: Missoula, Montana Mayor Trades Prius for Hybrid Mariner

Perhaps not, but he'll get better MPG then he would in any other SUV on the market doing the same job driven the same way. Additionally, you never know, with the added instrumentation right there in...

Re: Do you really need four-wheel drive?

Thank you. I'll admit, most of the time it's not necessary, but there have been a few times that I've been very glad I have it. Unlike most other people, I know how to use it, and smartly as well,...

Re: Drivers prefer comfort over gas mileage

Meh?

How on earth can someone who rode a supersized Pickup truck, and settled on a Jeep find the FEH to be a poor ride? I've driven and ridden in every model Jeep out there,...

Re: My letter to Ford Motor Company

I've had similar "angsts" over the last year ptowntsi, I've been frustrated at their complete laxidasical approach over the hybrid market, and their seemingly complete inability to bring successful...

Re: DOE to provide nearly $20 Million to further development of PHEV’s.

Compact Power, for those who are unaware, is the same company that came up with the NIMH's that the EV1 had, but weren't really used. They were featured somewhat indirectly in 'Who Killed The...

Re: Toyota touts Prius hybrid strategy over GM's Volt.

LOL, even with solar cells on every surface, with a nine hour work day, about 9 seconds of EV would be recaptured. There simply isn't enough surface area or efficient enough solar cells to make it...
