Good point about how slowing down can increase tire life. Wonder if flying around corners the way I do now is gonna wear out the outside though!

Papabile, I have a 98 Escort wagon with 140k miles on it. My best MPG so far is 43 MPG on a 300 mile, mostly interstate trip and that included using the air most of the time.(It's worth it to me...
