Re: Auto High-Beams are One Thing, Volvo’s Active High Beams Are Something New Altoge

Does this stand a better chance of making it in the US than Audi's new active headlights?

They said they couldn't bring them to the US because of regulations regarding moveable headlight assemblies,...

Re: Nissan slashes $6000 off the 2013 LEAF, now $28,800 before incentives

yeah, the over mileage charges are cheap if you budget them ahead of time or if you can buy add-on mile packs

Re: GM discounts electric Chevrolet Volt up to $10,000

This article has some flaws including getting the range per charge totally wrong EPA is 35 or 38 (2011-2012 model year, 2013), the loss per vehicle point has been debunked.

I checked with my General...

Re: Chevrolet Volt Lease Was Competitive, Now a Steal

And yes they should have made this car an easier thing to swallow price-wise, hopefully these are making Volt II something that can be done in greater volume at a lower price and at the same or...

Re: Chevrolet Volt Lease Was Competitive, Now a Steal

HCHIII was getting 52-55MPG a terrible car will hate it forever almost as much as my '93 Lincoln Continental ES. I'm also a 20-something so there were plenty of trips outside of the 84 miles of...

Re: Is the era of oil nearing its end?

Yes, it's about 3 vehicles ago isn't it :)

'95 Nissan Pickup Replaced the HCHII after I got an outstanding offer
'12 HCHIII replaced that, I hated shifting in traffic and getting fuel every week
'12...

Re: Chevrolet Volt Lease Was Competitive, Now a Steal

Yes they should have priced it to move and made it up years down the line in volume, but they didn't.

I'm spending ~$40 a month in electricity now driving a min of 84 miles a day vs ~$200 on regular...

Re: Is the era of oil nearing its end?

I should be good here if someone preferably GM sells a kit as fuel climbs to end my vehicle's habit of burning .03gal of fuel every 6 weeks when the price gets totally ridiculous to sustain this.

I...

Re: New IIHS Frontal Crash Tests Will Change the “Top Safety Pick” Landscape

cool, it's always concerning when every everyone is getting the best scores, (even more so when one gets a notch above the lowest rating when most others are knocking it out of the park)

Re: Honda wins reversal of small-claims loss over hybrid mileage

I preferred my HCHII post-fix to both my HCHIII and pre-fix. The warranty replaced battery didn't hurt though.

Re: In Defense of the Chevy Volt

Also, if you lease that will make the payments even lower but the mileage I put on made the appropriate level of lease coverage too expensive vs buying the car.

Re: In Defense of the Chevy Volt

I do about 100 miles a day in my '12 Volt, the difference in payment from my '12 Civic Hybrid is made up by the gas savings. I've burned 10.1 gallons since January '12 and have yet to pay out of...

Re: CleanMPG Reviews the 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid

It still does the wiper trick, they don't kick back on full speed until ~10 mph, the same speed the locks activate.

I'm agreeing with Wayne 100% here, it's a great car, very quiet, smooth, and all...

Re: FE Challenge 14 - 2011 Qtr 3
