Audi July 2012 Sales up 28%
A4 and Q5 sales continue to dominate Audi sales in the US

2012 Audi A4 - $32,500 to start with an at best 25 mpgUS combined from its direct injected and turbo charged 2.0L mill.
The interior of all Audi A4 models offers convenience for drivers and passengers. Craftsmanship is evident in the leather seating surfaces, including the newly available fine Nappa leather covered door armrests and in other materials such as brushed aluminum or available wood inlays. To add to the sport feel, Audi offers available sport contoured front seats with adjustable thigh support.
To put the Audi A4’s size in perspective, it is about the same size as the B-Segment Chevrolet Sonic with a passenger/cargo volume of just 91/12 cu. ft. respectively.
Audi July Sales
Audi released its July 2012 sales results and they are good. So good in fact its established a new July record with sales of 11,707 new vehicles, a 28% increase over July 2011.
Audi sales momentum benefitted strongly from robust demand for the technologically advanced Audi A6 generating a 66.8% sales increase for the month and a 123.8% increase year to date.
The recently updated A4 experienced sales up 51.7% in July and A5 sales were up 31.9%. The Q5 also sold well with an increase of 10.0% over July of last years results.
For the record-setting month of July 2012, four Audi models recorded year-over-year sales increases of 20% or more, including the Audi A3, the Audi A4, the Audi A5 and the Audi A6 models.

Top 10 July Sales Leaders - Items of note: Camry moved back to number 2 from 3 with the Chevrolet Silverado. F-Series missed the 50,000 mark after four straight months of topping that milestone. Malibu sales fell of a cliff dropping to just 12,345 units and dropping off the Top 10 list hard. Escape fell from 6th to 10th.

Segment ranking items of note: In the B-Segment ranks, the Fit and Fiesta swapped positions while Yaris sales fell sharply. The C-Segment ranks did not change other than the Elantra jumping two places ahead of both the Focus and surprising quickly faltering Cruze. The D-Segment ranks saw the Malibu fall towards the bottom of the list.
