GM may friend Facebook ads again

Washington— General Motors Co. is holding talks with Facebook Inc. about a return to advertising on the social media giant's website, the automaker confirmed late Monday.

GM, the world's largest automaker and one of its biggest advertisers, announced days before Facebook's initial public offering in May that it would halt its $10 million in advertising on the site, a move that embarrassed the website and raised questions about the impact of paid ads on the site that has more than 800 million users worldwide....
