Re: Hybridfest 2007 Videos
You know, it just hit me. I'm not making this up. Toyota should get into the video game business FOR REAL and develop hybrid video games. You select a course, you overcome light/traffic obstacles, and you aim for high MPG. We always joke about it being a video game, but why not a real one? It's good advertising for the car if nothing else.

LOL I like it! A way for people to learn to hypermile w/o having one of us fools next to them.
On a related note, I played with the Prius simulator some and I have to say it was nothing like the real thing. The pedals didn't respond right and there was certainly no ability to P&G.

Re: Hybridfest 2007 Videos
I also bombed on the simulator, but did a LOT better in a real Prius.

Re: Hybridfest 2007 Videos
The HTTF truck was full of screaming kids when I wandered
through it, but I did ask the attendants if the simulator could
teach people how to hypermile...

Re: Hybridfest 2007 Videos
I was in there twice and the kids were fighting over the simulator. It was wild. I stood in line for a couple of the displays and then left. I managed to get enough points to have a tree planted in my name in the Hoosier National Forest.

Re: Hybridfest 2007 Videos
This is part 2 of Hobbit's The Prius - A Detailed Look into How It Performs the Magic. Yeah I know I'm posting part 2 before part 1 but I'm still waiting for part 1 to finish processing. Google video is slow as hell processing long videos.
