Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park, 6-3-07
Hello to MiHG, MHG and CPG members and friends,
It’s spring, baseball is on and the 4th annual Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park is ready to go. This year’s event will be held on Sunday June 3rd at 1:05 pm with a game between the Brew Crew and the fishy Florida Marlins. This game will be a great chance to see the Brewers play some great baseball but in addition this game will be Prince Fielder Bobble Head day. All this means is that the game may be a sellout so great hybrid exposure.
Some of the basic facts are that you’ll get a Terrace Reserve ticket, a hot dog and a soda all for $10 per person. You’ll be on your own for parking this year which will be $8. We’ll start to gather at the Culvers on Highway 100 at about 9am with registration and an informal meet, in addition to VTP’s (Vehicle Tire Pressure). At about 10:30am we’ll then proceed, in the largest hybrid procession in history, to Miller Park where we will again gather for a tailgate party. We’ll party until game time then continue our camaraderie inside the park to watch the Crew beat the Marlins. Please bring food, beverages, chairs and grills for those in your party. As usual we will have fabulous door prizes and perhaps other surprises too.
What we ask is that you send us an email indicating your intentions on participating and how many $10 tickets you’ll need. In addition let me know the type of vehicle you’ll be bringing and we’ll need your return address too. We’ll send you your tickets straight away. Please make the checks out to Bradlee Fons at N37 W26899 Kopmeier Drive, Pewaukee WI. 53072-2340. Please act early so we can get more tickets if we need to.
This is the first joint event of the Milwaukee Hybrid Group, Madison Hybrid Group and the newly formed Chicago Prius Group and should be our largest. This event is designed to allow family and friends to enjoy a ballgame and to learn about hybrids and enjoy the camaraderie of one of our meets.
This should be the largest hybrid gathering until the BIG ONE….Hybridfest 2007, so act early. You do not need a hybrid vehicle to attend, just enthusiasm and the love of the Game and an interest in hanging with some hypermilers. More details will come soon.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement and we look forward to seeing you at the Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park.

Update - Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park, 6-3-07
This is the latest update on the 4th annual Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park. See additional details on the previous email above.
Members have been sending in requests for tickets and we’ve starting to send them back out. We still have tickets available so we urge you to send us an email with your intentions and how many tickets you will need. If we need to order more we need to know ASAP so we can order additional tickets from the Brewers.
Dan Braatz, from the Culvers on Highway 100 has welcomed us back to his parking area where we gathered last summer. I’ve included the link to Culvers below:
http://tinyurl.com/2svm45
Dan has his staff was very gracious to us last year and we appreciate his hospitality again for our annual Gathering.
One more thing, we would like to know the first and last names of all members, friends and your guests that will be attending. We have a special treat that requires those items. So if you’ve sent in requests in for tickets or will be doing so, please include all names of those in your party.
That’s it for now. Please remember that this event is for all your friends, relatives, children and work associates whether they have a hybrid or not. This event is a great opportunity for our hybrid camaraderie and for us to share our enthusiasm with others.
But it’s also for good food, friendship and baseball
We look forward to seeing you at our biggest Gathering to date and for a wonderful time of friendship, sharing and baseball. We hope to hear from you soon.

Re: Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park: update 5-26-07
Hello to MiHG members and friends,
This is the second to last call for the 4th annual Hybrid Gathering at Miller Park. We currently have 47 members and friends planning to attend with 15 hybrid vehicles and other non-hybrids ready for the caravan down to Miller Park on Sunday June 3rd.
This already is the biggest Hybrid Gathering to date and we anticipate a great time of hybridology, camaraderie and schmoozing with our MiHG members, family members, friends and the general public. Members will be coming from all over Wisconsin and Illinois to enjoy the gathering at Culvers, the caravan of hybrids, the tailgating, the ballgame (Brewers vs Marlins) and the post game schmoozing.
We still have some tickets available but they’ll go fast as the Gathering gets closer. Since this will be the largest hybrid get together prior to this years Hybridfest 2007, this is a can’t miss event. If you want tickets, send us an email with your name and the names of your guests. Then mail a check for your tickets at $10 a piece to:
Bradlee Fons
N37 W26899 Kopmeier Drive
Pewaukee, WI. 53072
We’ll then send you your tickets for the game and your free hot dog and soda to you.
Last minute details will follow in an email to those attending next week. On behalf of our MiHG as well as the Madison Hybrid Group and the Chicago Prius Group, we hope to enjoy the day with you and your guests at Miller Park. If you have questions, feel free to call us at 262-691-4349.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement and don’t forget to register for THE event of the year, HYBRIDFEST 2007:
