Just got back from Lute Riley Honda. Recently, Honda had a recall of hybrids in seven states, mostly in the sunbelt area to adjust the IMA so it does not overcharge the hybrid battery pack. Just some preventive maintainence so it's good for at least another 150,000 miles. :)

On a related note, my FE may take a hit once they fix something on the scheduled maintainence - my A/C has not been working for three months. :D Yes, in Texas you must have it. I've managed to live with it so far by parking under a tree at work and in the garage at home. Temperatures get into the low 90s, but they will get their longer and push into the 100s....

It's not good for "another 150,000 miles", it's only good up to 150,000 miles.

Need to explain my situation: Got a new hybrid battery pack in Feb. Did not intend to imply the OEM battery pack was good for 80,000 + 150,000 miles.

The IMA warranty work was listed at nearly $1,900 - no charge to me.
