Because of the size order to get the SG-II w/ X-Gauge’s down to this level inclduing shipping, we need 20 members up front before I can even think about doing this large a Group Buy :rolleyes: An additional $5.00 shipping to Canada unfortunately :(

I've got a couple friends who are interested. I'll let them know the group buy is up and running. (I'll make them register too - yay new members!)

I'm interested too. This seems to be the only group buy that I could find that is Canada-friendly. Is it still $5 extra for shipping to Canada by USPS? If so, count me in!

___There is a huge risk in shipping to Canada w/out some other means of insurance for this low a price. Even USPS adds almost $25.00 for the same. You must take this into consideration too. Please do not get frustrated at the GB starters from other forums as it is the Canadian government … Yes, another $5.00 to Canada. I am very close to not shipping into Canada myself because the proper shipping method w/ insurance on both our parts adds $20.00 plus what ever the Canadian govt. decides to tack on at the border after the fact if it does :(

___I just received a PM from Fluxated that there may be a way for the Canadian members to purchase their SG-II’s in a GB from a Canadian site for $150.00 shipped without any chance of a tax/fee/stolen at the border! Hopefully he will be providing me with those details in a few minutes. This would be a great deal for the Canadian members to get their SG-II’s quicker and without any hassle from the taxing bodies let alone the cross-border security issues!

$157.50 to my door -- that's about exactly what mine (GB #3) ran me after exchange. If it all checks out I'll send my Dad to Gifford.

Just to confirm - the gifford units are current version, xgauge, etc?

Are the Gifford units part of THIS group buy? (IE does a purchase through Gifford count as one of the 20 units required to complete GB 4?)

Either way, I'm VERY happy to see a competitively priced Canadian source for these!

The Gifford Ones are the UPDATED version, with xgauge.

What would happen if we got the 20, but you extended the "deadline" to Friday to allow anyone outside the 20 to join this group buy? Then you could have maybe 25 people. Just a thought.

___Still a chance … I can try and add you to the current GB order but since I already E-Mailed the entire list, there are no guarantees. I doubt they started packing everybody’s up given I received Ellen’s confirmation as the twentieth paid this afternoon and immediately shipped the list to Linear Logic this evening. If your CleanMPG GB payment and confirmed address is in my hands before 06:00 AM, I will pass it along before they open and it should make it? I can only try.

___Yes, you can order an extra cable if you would like but they are not able to be connected end to end if that is what you were thinking? They are built around an RJ45 port so a somewhat simple (non-crossover) connector and cable could give you an extension if you need it?

my obdII port is less than 2' away..

do they make a right angle plug so it doesnt have a cable sticking straight down?

And just so the rest of you know how good you have it-- I filled up Sunday in Burlingame, CA at $3.97/gallon (although with my 5% back gas card, it came out to $3.77, less than the generally cheaper Arco at $3.82). The premium stuff was $4.15 or so!

Ellen, my sgii was shipped from AZ Apr 10 Priority Mail & arrived Jacksonville FL Apr 12. I think USPS lists Priority Mail as 3-5 business days. I think Jacksonville is a regional mail hub which may explain why I rec'd mine a bit faster than some folks.

Hey Ellen, I just recieved mine in the mail today. I live in Massachusetts which probably explains the "slow" delivery from AZ. Seeing as you are in Texas you should be getting it soon. Either tomorrow if not today.

All is well :p I had no idea that this thing would be small enough to fit in the mailbox! I get the mail each day but, it is after dark. The itsy-bitsy brown box was all the way at the back of the box and I just didn't realize it.

I called my mail carrier when I got home (one of the benefits of living in a small town) to ask where she hid it. "Uhm . . . it's in your box - it has been for a couple of days, ma'am."
