Hello, I just bought my first Civic Hybrid 2 days ago and so far I'm loving every minute of it. I drive 70 % highway and 30% city for a total of 45 mins each way to work. If anyone has any tips for me on getting the best mpg let me know. Thanks.

Your commute sounds like a pretty good one for the Civic. Plenty of time on the road for the car to get warmed up and stay at operating temperature. Daox is right regarding the articles to take a look at. As noted in the articles, don't feel like you need to implement every strategy all at once. Just read, and re-read the article as necessary, adding techniques to your arsenal to be used whenever appropriate.

Welcome to the forum and I agree the referenced articles are a must read and a ScanGauge II is well worth the price.

First, if you have not already, is to air your tires up to the maximum pressure listed on the sidewall of the tire. This little trick is good for an immediate MPG increase.
