The previous owner of my Insight took it in to the dealership for EVERY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE. Normally, I'd think this is a fairly good, if not expensive, practice.
I was tooling around under the hood today and discovered that when the spark plugs had been replaced at 115k mi (per the book), the dealership that serviced it took the liberty of installing all "A" type spark plugs in an all "B" type head.
It's not that complicated people. It's like the square peg and the round hole.
A != B
Now I'm gonna be out $45 getting new plugs to get it back to rights again.
Just a friendly reminder to check up on the work your stealership does.
