I realized yesterday that my SG has all the info to automatically do pulse-n-glide and other fuelimproving techniques (driving-with-load) if connected to a CC. Combined with an altimeter to measure relative altitude differences and a GPS to learn your routes, it could do P-G which is optimsed to the terrain much more efficiently than a human. After-mounted cruise actuators are easy to install after all. The problem would then be to set the vehicle into neutral.

Now, if you could hook that all up to an intelligent camera to keep me on the road, and radar to keep me from running into others, I could take a nap on the way to work!
