Well my sharkfin antenna came in the mail yesterday and it looks great! :D Going to install it today once I figure out some way of plugging up the rear window washer nozzle ;)

I'll take before and after pictures since the company wanted some... I'm sure some people might be interested in how it looks as well.

Ok, I got impatient ;) I went ahead and put it on. I'll take some after pictures when I get to the parents house. Looks great IMHO!

Can't wait to see what it looks like. Did you get a fake one or one that has the built-in antennae?

I put one that came color matched on the Prius. Before I did, I set it on the Insight. I thought the black fin on a silver Insight added something. (I'm not sure what???)


Did it come color matched?

Its a real one that replaces my antenna and it was color matched to my Insights color.

The company I ordered it from has each one painted to the buyers car's paint code before its sent out. It delays the order by 2-3 weeks but pretty much ensures a perfect match. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Now I just have to wash the car (eventually.. the water shortage has put a hamper on that)

That shark fin antenna is sleek. It fits right on the Insight ... and it's tasteful too. Congrats for not contributing to the "rice" problem ;)
