Hi All:

___My father has a monster 8 HP dual stage that is simply to big for him given his age and health. He is interested in a 5 - 5.5 – self propelled - dual stage (preferably under $600). The furthest distance the front of his drive is from an outlet is ~ 100’ long so an electric may not really work. I think?. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi, Wayne! I've seen decent deals at both Home Depot and Menards but they were pretty much out by the first snows last week. I ended up getting a 9.5hp dual stage MDT just before the snow because last year I had a LOT of snow on that sloped drive of mine.

I don't know if that is terribly helpful? This is my first snowblower so...

They should have plenty in the stores around here. ;) :p That probably doesn't help much either.

This may not be real useful either, but I'd try craigslist if your looking for a deal or used blower.
