View Full Version : Hi, from another GH member.....
lakedude 05-13-2006, 09:18 PM I think everybody here already knows me from GH, but just in case.......
I started doing the Hybrid thing over at Insight Central. IC is an excellent site but I ended up with a HCH so I felt out of place over at IC. In addtion they are very, very picky about what is posted over at IC so I felt restricted.
A couple years ago I found Green Hybrid and have been posting there ever since. I still visit IC but GH is more like home.
Some of use have been wondering where X went to. The other day Tom told us Wayne could be found over here at CleanMPG so here I am.
tbaleno 05-13-2006, 09:25 PM Welcome Lakedude. Looks like you found Wayne. I hope you enjoy the site. If you can think of any thing to make it better let us know.
lakedude 05-13-2006, 09:28 PM Thanks
That isn't my real birthday BTW:p
Chuck 05-13-2006, 09:37 PM Welcome to CleanMPG!
Ditto about IC. They may have loosened up in occasional recent visits there. After seeing both extremes in forum management, promoting civility and keeping trollers out is about all that matters.
philmcneal 05-13-2006, 09:47 PM ah welcome to the place to maximize your car's potenial in terms of gas burned vs distance.
tigerhonaker 05-14-2006, 01:45 AM Thanks

Hi;
Welcome to www.CleanMPG.com :D
I think I have seen your Name somewhere before. ;)
gonavy 05-14-2006, 10:13 AM hey there!
... another mod from GH ...
tbaleno 05-14-2006, 11:39 AM I think over half the mods from greenhybrid have joined this site. Its probably because we are so passionate about our cars and driving them efficiently.
Thanks for checking us out you guys. Believe it or not Jason is a member here. Though its probably just to make sure we aren't stepping on his toes with this site :)
gonavy 05-14-2006, 02:37 PM I recall reading some posts from Jason here. I don't think he's concerned about getting toes stepped on- he doesn't seem territorial. Besides, he needs to keep focused on finishing school. Rice ain't no walk-in-the-park sort of place.
You, Georgia, Lakedude, myself, and Ericbecky are all here. I think Pravus is the only mod not also here.
As a poster in the thread of interest at GH says, "the internet is a big place." Plenty of room for all of us to keep up in many places at once.
lakedude 05-16-2006, 01:22 AM I've been wondering what Jason thinks of this site and our membership at both,
also wondering if you all are planning on selling when the site gets big enough?
Hi Lakedude:
___And here is another warm welcome. God bless those that push tanks for the betterment of all … or who just like to save money ;) With that, you are one of the best and I look forward to your HCH-I tutelages and general stories of the road!
I've been wondering what Jason thinks of this site and our membership at both,
also wondering if you all are planning on selling when the site gets big enough?
___To answer the first, I truly doubt Jason cares (cared) about the hybrid or non-hybrid community anyway so why would he care about this site? It was a simple $’s and ¢’s decision to him or he wouldn’t have sold it, right?
___Answer to the second question … Not a chance in HELL and I am saying this politely :D We have too many to teach for the betterment of all and that cannot be done from a corporate suite while in a suit if I can describe it in not so blatant terms.
___Good Luck
___Wayne
lakedude 05-16-2006, 05:29 PM All right, some true believers! Hi X, long time no see. I'm glad Tom pointed us over here, missed ya.
Chuck 05-16-2006, 05:38 PM All I want in cyberspace is a forum of drivers that truly want to be green and fuel efficient, with administrators that will protect this haven from skeptics who want to subvert it.
The other thing is a pet forum with responsible owners that promote humane care, neutering, oppose backyard breeding.....if only I could get a bunch of them to come.

Chuck,
Off Topic here for a Minute: Really sorry about my Non-Posting over on the www.spencerthelion.com
Forum. This Site just keeps me busy and I only have so much time. :(
