I've seen reference in past posts to three web videos on "managing forced regen," "fake shifting," and "pulse & glide." I've tried to follow several old links to find those videos, but all the links are old/bad.

Can anyone point me to those videos?

Those videos and the website were removed by the author not long after that thread was posted.

I can't think offhand of any videos with the HCH-II on this site, but others may know or there might be some helpful HCH-1 vids lurking in the gallery somewhere.

Yes, that's one of the posts I saw about the videos. I also googled to try to find other copies at different urls. There were several other references to different links, but all of them were old/bad.
