BorgWarner and the EPA are working together to develop cleaner diesel technology.
"Clean diesel" will be at the pump around October.

Hi Chuck:
___Man, these guys just don’t get it … I have a feeling that until a diesel can meet Tier II/Bin5 at an expense the average consumer can afford, we will be seeing proclamation after proclamation and nothing of tangible benefit will arrive to help reduce our dependence. We most certainly need a high FE choice but $50K + MB’s w/ a Blue-Tec Urea-Injected SCR CAT is not the answer most are looking for by a long shot unfortunately :(
___Ford, where is that Ford/Peugeot developed 1.6 with an in-expensive Urea injected CAT and DPF in a Euro Focus/Mazda 3 or Euro based Ka for us????
___Good Luck

yeah people aren't going to pay for efficency if it takes too much to even get it. In my experience, cheap brings in ALL people to impulse buy. Cheap and efficency, make those two words true and your a rich guy right now!
