So they don’t know the difference between an Escape and an Explorer ;) The 08 FEH still has an 08 EPA rating of 34 city/30 highway!
The Bonita Code Enforcement Department this week introduced the first hybrid into the city’s 11-car fleet. The new vehicle is a modified Ford Explorer that gets 35 miles per gallon.
“I hope this is the first of many,” City Manager Gary Price said. “If anything is going to happen in government to help the environment, it has to be on the local level.”
The hybrid purchase came after City Councilwoman Martha Simons recommended Bonita’s government cars be more fuel-efficient.
