I don't know how long this has been up, but Ford has the pre-launch site up for their upcoming crossover vehicle, the Ford Flex.

It seems like Ford is intentionally trying to raise questions about their rational when making decisions. Two-tone as a major selling point? 3.5L V6 Engine when gas prices are shooting up like a rocket? Yet another Fugly design IMHO. Hopefully like the Fusion, this will also come as an I-4 and get halfway decent fuel economy, as opposed to the AWD V6 Version. At least the inside looks like a nice vehicle to take the family on vacation with.

Yikes. Looks like a Suburban to me.

We had an '86 Caravan with 5-spd and the smallest engine available, 2.2 liter. I think I'll never again but a Chrysler vehicle,
BUT the thing was rated 27 mpg highway and achieved it. Carried 7 people and just about anything you would care to haul.

Had 14 inch steel rims and a killer A/C system. Accelerated like, well, it didn't really accelerate. You had to work the stick for all it was worth to get and keep it at highway speed.

The Flex is too big for a 4-cylinder engine.

I'm not sure about the styling, but the overall form is evolutionary. You can see an SUV that is gradually morphing back into a station wagon. They should have just called it the Country Squire.

I like the interior.
