Well I figured something like this would happen during my first week with ScanGauge. Other Ranger popped a check engine light this morning, was running rough, and still is. I'd like to check the code(s) with my new favorite toy errrrr tool, but I don't want to lose the data I have going on the 96 Ranger. What is the best for me to do in this case? Fill up the 96 and make the tank adjust for it, mark it down, then switch it to the 98 for checking the codes? or can I just pull it and check the codes? What happens if I drive the 98 for a while? If I dont save the tank / engine data, will the saved 96 stuff come back when I plug it back in there? Thanks for the help and suggestions in advance
