Hey folks just to share with you all a Mother's Day Story:

Cathy and I do not have Children so I decided to surprise her with a Mother's Day Gift from our Two Cats.

Max the Rag-Doll http://www.cleanmpg.com/photos/data/500/medium/Max_the_Rag_Doll_Cat.jpg

and Tiger the Maine-Coon http://www.cleanmpg.com/photos/data/500/medium/Tiger_The_Maine_Coon_Cat.jpg

I went to the {Great American Cookie Factory} and Special Ordered a Mother's Day Cookie with Max and Tiger on the Cookie and even had their eye colors put on their pictures. Well as close as possible. Max has Blue Eyes and Tiger has Gold Eyes.

I then checked around to see if I could get a Courier Service to deliver the Mother's Day Cookie today (Sunday). I got the owner of one of the courier services and he thought it was so cool that he said he would have the Cookie picked-up at the Store and then Delivered to Cathy at our Home. So this was really Cool the way it turned out.

Here is a Picture of the Mother's Day Cookie from her Kids, Max & Tiger.

I know there are a lot of Families that are Members here and some have Pets so I thought I would share this Special Mothers Day Surprise with you all. Hope you find this as Fun as I did doing it for the Wife (Cathy). Some of you met her Last Year at Hybridfest 2006.

BTW, This is Fun sharing this with you: :)

Spencer (left), Xena (right)

These two turn ten this week. Spencer looks more like Tiger, but not quite as long. Xena is a classic seal-point Siamese.

Good to finally see a picture of Max!

Delta the Cat-Lover,

Max and Tiger said to Thank-You for the Pics of your Cats.

I really thought there would be more comments from the Ladies on the Forum. I thought they would think this was pretty darn cute.

I really read this Wrong:

1-Response from {You} Deltflyer. Much-Appreciated: ;) Hey how do you figure what people will respond to on a Forum.

However this is a Forum Dedicated to Saving Fuel and the Environment. So I guess all is in line when one stops and looks at the Bigger Picture.

I would not mind if the avitars started to look like PriusChat - they have at least 20 members with cat avitars....and a few dogs and birds. :)

Very nice surprise for Mother's Day - our dogs present to wife was to shed enough hair to knit another dog... oh yeah and the big one woke her up at 5:45am barking at the stupid squirrels on the bird feeder...

Hey I guess you can never tell about people, can you ... ;)

Very thoughtful gift, Tiger -- I can see you had a lot of fun doing it. And they did a great job on the artwork. I bet Cathy loved it, right?

Well, Tarabell is alive and well. ;) Yes Cathy was like very surprised.

The courier came to the front door and I was Hiding-up-Stairs Listening. Cathy said there is a Pizza Man at the door. She opened the door and said we did not order a Pizza I don't think. The courier Guy says I am not the Pizza Man I am a Private Courier and have a Delivery for you. Cathy said well who is it from ?? He said, well it says here from Max and Tiger Honaker for Mothers Day. Cathy finally gets it and starts Laughing. Courier hands box to Cathy and Thanks Her.

We ate everything but the pics of the two cats.

Hi Terry!

(Sorry that my response is so late, but this last couple of weeks have been crazy with preparations for my step-son's wedding.)

This was *very* cute, & *very, very* sweet, too! My husband has occasionally surprised me with gifts from Mitten (elderly tortie girl) & Woolly-Willy (big Manx boy) to their Mommie & I love it :) :) :) (Someday soon I will get pictures of my fur-babies on here...)

See you at Hybridfest?
