Not strictly car-tech by itself, but just for the record,
last night's basement rescue operation (http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=31937) took the average on
about half a tank from 56.something down to about 54. But
perhaps that will be made up for in ethanol content, heh...

Now that's a good turn done!
Hi Hobbit:
___Your House saving story deserves more then a link for god’s sake! Check the Home Page News or click on the link :D
One of our own - Prius saves the planet. One house at a time? (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=25346#post25346)
___I remember seeing a pic of you in front of your Prius II but could not find it in my thousands of archived pics so I chose the one with your Prius II parked in standing water to highlight the News thread.

For rising sea levels, you'll need a bigger pump...

Dan suggested that an inverter in the Prius is very efficient in the twin thread at PC ( http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=31937 ). I just wondered if someone would like to do a writeup of suggested hardware, limits on size/amperage, how and where to install, etc. What's the largest inverter we can safely and reasonably connect to the 12v battery? Maybe some photos and a nice big write-up would be helpful.
