We're all mileage obsessed with our cars, but is anyone else here a runner? I've been running for the past 1 and 1/2 years--lost 40 lbs before gaining ten back. Planning to run my first marathon in May. Anybody else here have the running itch?

I made a valiant attempt but found that my knees can't take the pounding. It's a shame because I really liked it, I just don't like the pain that results. My wife has done much better. She did her first half marathon last month.

I love to run and would like to someday complete a marathon, but it is a rather time consuming hobby.

Done it and it's NOT easy!

Running on a regular basis is something I need to do again, but the benefits would make a long list, including adding 7-10 years to your life expectancy.
