Friday: the old lady who thought our friend (OF) was turning into the parking lot she was pulling out of and pulled out in front of her. It was a fairly low speed collision, front-right to left-front and no-one was hurt, but the old lady's car was more severely damaged. OF's car's front lost a head light and the passenger door makes a noise when opened. OF was near the end of her working day and wasn't able to get a rental immediately, no doubt in part because it's a holiday weekend so we gave her a (long) ride home.
Saturday: the person who slammed into the back of OF's daughter's (OFD's) car which is a new car she's had only a few months. She's not hurt. The tow truck guy thought it would be totaled. OF is going to drive down to pick her up today after work.
(This completed the set. OF's husband (OFH) had a motorcycle accident 7 weeks ago when a lady misjudged his speed and turned left in front of him. There's a reason the Maine Driver's Handbook warns you that it's difficult to judge motorcycle speed.)
