Trucks and SUVs will have to meet stricter standards in years 2008 thru 2011. While many may say they don't go far enough when finalized, they will probably be the most significant CAFE standards change since they went into effect.

Oh, and it will cost the automakers $200 more to get there, but it will pay for itself. Maybe they should think a little more boldly... ;)
