View Full Version : Do you know Frankie the angel? Information for tailgaters :)
PeterRRC 06-17-2011, 02:02 PM Hi guys,
I'm not sure does anyone here have heard about Frankie the guardian angel so this is a short story:
Frankie talks to God:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jEPHOUj3wY
And another videos:
- Garage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4h0CqCV4vo&feature=related
- Motorcycles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pj4RG44pTU&feature=related
Frankie's facebook profile:
http://www.facebook.com/SlowDown.TakeItEasy?sk=photos
and latest videos:
- Franky gets himself a motorbike: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CcsmxljotU&feature=channel_video_title
- Franky gets another call from God: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esTg_upOOE8
All these videos and Frankie itself are a part of Swiss campaign for road safety.
I think it is cool to be part of this since the sticker is in english language and you don't have to be from Swiss to put it on your rear bumper :)
It is also sign for others on the road that you drive with PSL's.
So... Slow down, take it easy :)

I did it by self since I got special PDF which allows me to do that.
I can share this file here if you want.
The decal has 103,5mm x 145mm size.

Please do. I never put decals on ours, but if I was going to change camps, that one would sway me ;)
Harold 06-18-2011, 10:27 AM Thanks Peter ,I am a PC nerd, but sounds like Mendel is interested! H

Just go with this file to the nearest store where they have plotter and they will do this for you.
Mendel Leisk 06-18-2011, 02:10 PM Thank you. Again, I'm averse to stickers, but wondering: maybe I'll look into a fridge magnet style stick-on, if there's a decent expanse of sheet metal to place it.
Hmm: it's doable, but smallest qty is 100, one place I checked.
We have a dealership decal that's comprised of individual letters, ie: the gaps are open, so you see the paint color. That would work best I think. I wonder if that sort of thing is doable with an inkjet?

I had also averse to stickers but this one is not ordinary sticker since it's:
- lofty and ambitious campaign (road safety)
- great sticker design (angel wings)
- great motto understandable for all
This is the only sticker on my car that I have.
About magnet style... interesting but I worry about weather conditions - temperature below 0 Celcius degree (in Winter), snow, water, dust...

I think current version of sticker is the best solution and works on any color car - see photo gallery: http://www.facebook.com/SlowDown.TakeItEasy?sk=photos
But if you still want to make this sticker transparent - I see other possibility - print this sticker then use a small knife or razor blade to slice all black fields on this sticker it should give you effect you would like to see but it's laborious in my opinion.

Have had some flexible one at a time custom magnetic stickers (signs) made for my EV. Minimum order being one. Easy on and easy off depending upon the situation. Weather hasn't seemed to bother them. I just sent them the graphic design.
Not sure if we are allowed to post business names so send me a PM and I'll give you a contact name if your interested. Company is in ND, USA so it wasn't Califiornia high prices.
