tigerhonaker 03-21-2007, 04:02 PM :Banane23: Dan,
We want Pics, We want Pics, We want Pics etc. etc. etc. etc.
Dan did you drive the Touring 2007 Prius and if so what did you think??????
Also you did not like the 50th Anniv. Toyota Camry ????
I really like the way they have done that Hybrid.

BTW, I love the 07 Touring Pic of the Red one in their Brochure.
Thanks guys... she's really coming along. After the scheduled surgeries at HybridFest 2007 (OEM EV button, EBH), she should should be complete (well that is once I get my SGII installed).
___It sounds like your almost ready for a home page listing! Add a personal paragraph or two, upload a pic of you and your Prius II and I will take care of the rest ;)Yes, I'm slackin' again. I still have my Sell Me A Prius blog (http://screamingmonkeys.blogspot.com) up. Need to convert it now.
:Banane23: Dan,
We want Pics, We want Pics, We want Pics etc. etc. etc. etc.Agreed, I need to get one at dusk when the tint looks nice and dark. Also need some shots of the extra leather, since as far as I know, I have more leather than even the factory option includes.
Dan did you drive the Touring 2007 Prius and if so what did you think?????? Yep, thought it was less comfy (see L2:Liquicell seats), too bumpy and too loud (see P4:Sound shield). I was also under the impression that the touring had a sports suspension which I wasn't interested in. I always read "sports" suspension, as "more-bumpy-shocks". In the end I guess I could use the better cornering because of DWB, but with the kids in the car, I take the turns light anyway, and never really go over 40 for most of my trip. But the tighter suspension coupled with 45 psi and without liqucell would have never been enjoyable. In the end I give the touring a thumbs down for hypermilers. :(

Yeah, I like the Camry, but it had too much $$ and too little MPG. I'd been lusting after the Prius long before the Camry went HSD, so I was pretty single minded.
tigerhonaker 03-21-2007, 07:05 PM Dan,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I just wondered what your thoughts were on the two Hybrids.

mparrish 03-21-2007, 10:46 PM Dan, I'm magnetic grey as well. Great Prius minds think alike.

I knew it, it explains those good numbers. Gray absorbs more heat so when the ambient air comes into contact with it, it heats and rises away from the surface. This creates good laminar flow around the car reducing air resistance. Kinda like a golf ball.
Still working on how xcel did so well in a red car. Must be a property of the paint sealant that ford used on that years model, or he waxed it with Teflon based products ;)
