The other week, I parked nose-in on an uphill at an animal shelter I volunteer with. When I got in to leave, the car would not roll backwards out of the space. Funny, it usually does... It seems like the parking space had leveled out just a little too much for the car to roll back.
It was wet out, so I didn't feel like sticking my foot out the door and pushing back with it. So I rocked back and forth in my seat, shifting my weight. Much like I remember doing when I was a child, sitting in a snow-sled on top of a hill.
It worked! The car slowly started moving back, and coasted right back to my usual turn-around area.
I got a small grin out of this, and thought you might also.
