Hey all,

I drive a 2008 Toyota Corolla with an automatic transmission. Is there a possibility of transmission damage from coasting in neutral with the engine on? I know the 2008 Corolla isn't flat towable, so coasting with the engine off in neutral is a very bad idea, but how about with it on?

It's fine. The issue with flat-towing is the transmission is lubricated by an engine-driven pump. As long as the engine is running, that pump is doing its lube duties.
