View Full Version : Best Honda dealership for HCH-II service in north NJ?

I'm getting horrible FE this winter (~24 mpg, city driving) with my 2006 HCH II -- and I thought last winter was bad, at about 32 mpg. I recently had an oil change, so I wonder if that has had something to do with it (overfill, or heaven forbid the wrong weight oil -- I know it was synthetic, and this guy's done the car before with no problems).

Additionally, when I try to acclerate on a small incline, say from 45 mph to 55 mph, my RPM goes through the relative roof (about 3,500), and the car has to work really hard to get there. Feels similar to a traditional transmission "missing." CVT fluid is at the right level, so I'm not sure what's happening. (This was happening prior to the recent oil change.)

Anyhow, I've never had a good experience with dealership maintenance for any car I've owned, and after reading the myriad nightmares HCH owners have had here, I'm nervous. So, are there any HCH owners in north NJ who can recommend a Honda dealer for service? I'm considering DCH Honda Paramus and Paul Miller Honda in West Caldwell, so far.
