Hi All:

Jesse gave me a call and said one of his friends just picked up a brand new 2010 Insight LX for $99 a month and $1,000 down on a 2-year? Black Friday starting early?

Honda of Weymouth, MA (http://www.weymouthhonda.com/new/specials)

While I am not sure if the details are correct or not, Honda is offering $169 a month w/ $1,699 down for a 3-year and the dealership Jesse’s friend picked his Insight LX up is offering an EX at $119 per month w/ $1,000 down on a 30-month, 12K miles per year and ~ $950 month junk fees.

Comparing the LX from Honda’s website to the LX picked up at the same or similar price shows a $70/month difference over 36-months show at least a $2,500 under the table cap cost reduction.

If so, LX’s should be able to be purchased from just about anybody for $17,300 or so range + the obligatory D&H and TTL.

While not really a news worthy story since we cannot confirm the exact details just yet, Honda is trying to move Insight’s with a ton of Dealership cash available (saves Honda’s residuals) in case you are in the market for one?

Good Luck

Wayne

Hi All:

This deal is even better than previously thought as just confirmed. While the std. $950 in junk fees were added to the $1K down, this is just a 2-year 12k/year lease! For a small business that can write the payments off, $4,400 or thereabouts for a 2-year lease is a pretty darn good deal!

Hi. I work for Weymouth Honda and just saw the post. Feel free to ask any questions you have about the car. We've got LX's for sale including the $750 destination for $17,344.95 and EX's including the destination charge for $18,502.52. Only other fees are a $239 dealer documentation fee, $100 for MA title and registration ($125 if it's new plates), and tax. Hope this helps! It's a great little car!
