___I have been working on a supervisor at work who was considering a Corolla LE w/ Auto due to TCO. It took about a week of conversations but he did it. He decided on an 07 Red Prius II - Touring w/ Package #2 just yesterday. His cost was $23K something which was not too bad but at least another member of society has been converted. 1 vehicle at a time is about all we can hope for. IIRC, Carl Hurschik also spoke with him about a Prtius II purchase as well? We are both working on another employee in the chemistry department to do the same in the not to distant future also ;)

___It may not be a Prius, HCH or FEH but it may have been the next best thing? I have been talking up the hybrids plus the Yaris, Fit, Civic, and Corolla to my car pooler, Jesus P. (the guy with the Ford F-150 w/ a V8) and guess what he went out and purchased last night? His budget was not large enough for a hybrid but was for a brand new 07 Yaris hatch w/ Auto for $12,500. He needed the Auto because his mom and sister drive his vehicle sometimes. The air bag package was a bit to steep for him I guess although I tried on that one :( Either way, he is moving from 13 - 15 mpg Large P/U to 40 + Sub-compact which is a huge success in my book :)

Btw, this term for the Yaris Liftback was created by a buddy of mine out of lighthearted spite after he learned I was getting better mileage than his motorcycle does. :Banane17:
