I see now that ScanGauge II with X-Gauge is able to display oil pressure and oil temperature for some vehicles. Can anyone confirm if one can get such information from an 05 Vibe (aka Corolla)?

I was not able to get my scangauge to display oil pressure. I never looked into oil temp. I ended up hooking up a aftermarket (stewart warner) gauge to see my oil pressure. I mounted the gauge in a pod mounted on the pillar. The setup was simple. If you're used to hooking up gauges, it's pretty typical. I tee'd off the boss right at the oil filter housing. You'll see the factory low pressure switch there. I just took the factory switch out, put a tee fitting in. One side of the tee is the factory switch, the other side of the tee is the after market sending unit. Then just wire as usual. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
