Finally got my dealer to fix the approximately 5-7 degrees temperature variation between the driver and passenger side vents. Originally reported this issue over a year ago while study under manufacturer's 36,000 mile warranty. Asked them to look at it again while I had it in for 10,000 oil change/tire rotation. Also had the rear battery air conditioning filter and the pollen filter replaced. Second rear filter replacement, and first pollen filter replacement. Approximately 46,750 miles on 2008 FWD 2008 FEH acquired 01/14/2008. Also have extended warranty. Have pre-paid maintenance coupon. Total for all parts, labor, and services including multi-point inspection $449.52. My out of pocket was $41.12, primarily $38.98 for the two filters.

Located this TSB today which appears to be the one for this issue:

Part number replaced - AL8Z-19E616-F
Part description - RH/LH Temperature Blend Door Actuator Assembly

Since I have DUAL AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL (DATC), TSB recommended replacing both motor assemblies, which was done.

I could tell the work had been done as it appears the dash must have been taken apart to replace the motor assemblies. Must have had to disconnect the battery or the radio, as all my radio presets were gone, and my clock time was off. Guess it would have been nice if those things would have been reset, but at least I knew something was done. And the main thing is the heat and air conditioning now blow at the same temperature out of the passenger side and driver side vents.

Parts for this TSB were $47.56, and labor was $328.98.

Not to be confused with the rear blend door actuator issue.
