Great propulsion tech but way too far out... As some here have recently complained, now that the Aptera has been built around the needs of everybody with ingress, egress ergonomics incorporated, something was taken away that cannot be put back.

The Edison 2’s of X-Prize fame sure look a lot more mainstream after seeing these designs but the only one that does make sense since it is on road today is the X-Tracer…

Some call that weird. I call it a thing of beauty as it’s a more protected 2-seater bike that is just absolutely hyper efficient. It cleaned the clocks of everybody entered into the X-Prize too!

That x-tracer sure seems to be doing a lot of damage in the competition. Both variants seem to be smashing the other competitors!

Indeed and they took home $2.5 Million for their efforts too! The cool thing is these are on the road with gas engines with the electrics being used for publicity ride/drives including the event in which the X-Tracer E-Tracer is going around the world at this very moment.

I should write to them and see when we can get our hands on one. Not the E-Tracer variant but the gasoline engine one as I suspect 100 mpg should not be a problem with something that slick but I am not sure how efficient the 650 cc engine is. I think it was a 650 cc engine anyway? I had better become more familiar with their ICE equipped offerings and fast :)
