I was wondering if anyone had any insight in these tires?
My dad wont spend the extra $ for Goodyear Fuel max.
So I am trying to find some nice LRR tires and these just became avalible.

I don't know of anyone yet with personal experience, but the online reviews seem positive. A good selling point is that they will last a long time (treadwear rating is 800) and are designed for low rolling resistance. Your dad is likely interested in low noise and pleasant ride, and the touring design of the Eco Solus should meet the need. And the low price is another benefit. Pitch the idea to him and see what he thinks. If he is shopping price, these tires are a great buy - and any mpg boost from the LRR design is the icing on the cake.

Low noise and pleasant ride is EXACTLY what the Fuel Max gives. Also, good mpg.

For a popular size like 215/60-16, the site linked above lists the FuelMax at 93 (with a $20 rebate on a set of four lowering the price to 88 each) and the Eco Solus at 81 each.
If dad is looking for the lowest cost, it might be interesting to note that the FuelMax and Eco Solus are within $30 overall on a set of four. Depending on tire size, both these tires are in the lower end of the price range, and any extra money you spend on the tires will be saved on fuel costs. Buying tires on price only is a risky move because the online reviews show the budget tires are notorious for poor foul weather traction and tread noise. They're good for mounting on the car to get rid of it, but for a daily driver, it is worth the few extra bucks to get a good set of tires.
Oh he has a Yaris Sedan.

These are the tires that are LRR for his size.
The Solus are $20 cheaper per tire compared to the Fuel Max tires.

Don't know about specific model, but I've run Kumhos on cars and semis. Good tire for the price. He won't get premium, but it'll be better than simple black and round.
