Light to moderate rain and a fairly cool temperature of 56F and winds ENE@ 10-15 mph are bringing my average down. I'm at 93.6 mpg for the day. I have another 32 miles or so of driving to take a friend to the bus station tonight and it is going to be on an unfamiliar route. I'm hoping to at least hang on to 90 mpg or above.

another wonderfull trip to n from work. well going in was 99% uneventful. when i turned onto the long 2 mile road to my workplace some guy on a motorcycle didn't like my rate of acceleration and roared past me. I expected him to go racing down the road but he just wanted to get up to speed quicker i guess. funny thing is that when i pulled into the garage at work there he was just getting of his bike as i rolled in.

oh well! (sigh)

43.6- 7.4 to work. parked on secodn level of garage and i loos 1 mog going up the ramp and circling around.

46.4- 6.4 miles home.

got a nice roll going and rolled down the ramp and almost made it to the gate. when i started up treh Sg showed 1225 for an instant then dropped to 455 then into the 60's :D caught my one light but next one hooked me! :(

Sean, the leak appears to be closer to the top of the engine which would suggest possibly a valve cover gasket. At this time though, I would classify it as more of a seepage than a leak.

Not doing so good today.:( Durned SOC management; I was down a few bars and had to make it back up.:p The temperature was 53F and the wind was calm. I had 85.7 mpg over 21.0 miles.

It sure did. It took till the very end of the 8.6 miles to get it there. I tried several times on the way back to get more charge in it and it absolutely refused charging. Even with the attempts at stuffing more charge, I still got significantly better on the way home as the number indicates. Heading out now to pick up my wife. This should be interesting.

The car drives quite a bit differently with a full SoC. :)

It is looking more and more like I'm just not going to be able to pull the 130+mpg numbers using my bypass route on the way home. There are just too many stops involved. Unless traffic slows down significantly, I'm not going to be able to go back to the old route and duplicate the results I got 2 summers ago. :p

On the other hand, 120+mpg is proving very doable indeed.
