I'm researching the ScanGauge II to use on my new Mazda MX5 (Miata)...I'm in New England.

A few people on here use the Scangauge II. Seems to be a pretty good unit. I think there have been a few issues reported, but for the most part I think people are very happy with them.

What do you plan on monitoring with the scangauge? Are you after Fuel Economy or Performance?

I'm using the first generation ScanGauge. mine gave me a few minor issues early-on but they all went away. You just have to be careful about scorching heat as well as knocking the plug out with your foot...d'oh.

This is a great device for anyone interested in fuel economy, whether a little more or a lot more.

I'm enjoying the ScanGage I, and it's been helpful on a number of occassions. :)

After having the SG-II in the Miata for over a year, it's value to me is that I've improved my driving habits, and saved a few coins to boot. And if they're any Miata drivers out there who are looking for a way to install the SG-II in a "looks permanent, but is easily moveable to another car" give me a "shout-out" I've got pics...;)
