Its now 68F in Tulsa with a wind out of the south at 15 to 25 mph. A great drive in! :)

In Tonkawa where the Insight marthon was held its 38F with a north wind at 15 to 25 mph.

The artic cold front is here. Hope the drive going home is good with the big time tail wind. :)

Will get to see how the Civic does in the snow and ice Thursday.

Channel 4 in OKC just changed the forecast for my area.

8 to 12 inches of snow.

Looks like the F150 is coming out of the barn for tonites commute.

Awww...I was going to take you up on who can skate fartherest on an Insight.

Might be off a couple of days, but on Dec 13, 2000 work was dismissed early. Was going 40mph the first five miles, then the next 25 was 2mph stop-and-go for the next 4+ hours.

Thirty miles - 25mpg - can you beat it?

WOW Randall

You must be a convergance line between the mess coming out of the rockies and the low coming out of the southwest.

Maybe it wont be to bad in my part of okieland then.

Stay warm

highwater,

Could this be the perfect weather to patronize that legendary Oklahoma establishment Eskimo Joe's (http://www.eskimojoes.com/)? :D

It happened too quick to snap a picture, but leaving early due to iced roads, I had a Dallas pic of white roads behind a car with an Illnois plate. :D

Hi Chuck:

___How fitting! It has just started in the south suburbs of Chicago but has not reached the far north ones yet. I will try and snap a pic of the first flakes if it arrives before to long ;)

___Good Luck

man i just battle 2 weeks of snow... sure it costed me a nasty mpg hit but i'm so glad i made it without buying snow tires mua hahahahahahah!

man my current mpg is like 40 and with snows... i cannot imagine how worse they will be... so glad the weather is getting towards the positive temps (above 0 degrees C)

and boy those poor souls that did not block their radiator... i have no idea how on god's earth they kept warm because our coldest was at least 11 MINUS degrees C! Heck turning the heater on for like a few mins quickly dropped the engine coolant from 90 degrees C to 70 degrees C no problem (and for my prius to be engine off happy... it must be above 70 degrees c!)

man no radiator block I would have been murdered ~ pexi glass rules!
