Unintended acceleration or angry customer? Toyota driver reportedly rams dealership (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/02/01/unintended-acceleration-or-angry-customer-toyota-driver-reporte/)
My call is the Toyota truck was not faulty, but the driver was.

Uncontrolled accelerations claims starting to increasing from the current extremely rare to common, as people fake uncontrolled accelerations and crash looking for settlements.
A variation on the "someone stole my car" that gets torched out in the woods.

The dealership is in Louisana.
I don't think the reaction to the crash was "Who Dat?" :D

Exactly when do you press the accelerator hard enough to get it stuck when driving in a parking lot?
Even if it got stuck, since the dealership had offered to repair with a loaner, I don't think he will have a legit claim again Toyota or the dealer. He chose not to have it repaired and must deal with the consequences, at least thats what the dealer/Toyota's lawers will say and I'd agree.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if a person were to drive a car with a known fault and not get it repaired, would their insurance company have to pay if the car were in a crash due to that fault? This seems just one step below intentionally crashing the car.
