Non-hybrid 2010 Fusion rated at 25 mpgUS combined on the 08 EPA - Doing well in Canada!
Oakville, Ontario -- Ford of Canada continues to beat the industry trend by bringing in July sales that were 47.4 per cent higher than July of 2008 and by increasing market share for the ninth consecutive months. Total year-to-date sales for Ford in Canada are 2.3 per cent higher than at the same time last year.
"People are noticing a difference at Ford and we'll stay focused on what matters most to consumers," said David Mondragon, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. "A recently-released quality study places Ford at the top of the industry – that strength in quality, along with leading fuel economy and compelling value continues to draw customers to our showrooms."
The July results were driven by strong sales of products across the lineup including the Ford Fusion, Mustang, Escape, Flex, F-Series and Lincoln MKX.
The all-new 2010 Ford Taurus, an upscale, tech-savvy, full-size sedan, will soon be available at dealers to help further build Ford's sales momentum along with the continuation of the Drive One Challenge. Ford is inviting consumers to test drive a new Ford or Lincoln vehicle – and if they decide to purchase a qualifying competitive vehicle from another manufacturer, they will receive $100 from Ford.
