Bikes are the ultimate fuel saver.

Eurobike will be held on the northern part of Lake Constance in the town of Messe Friedrichshafen, Germany.

The event currently includes over one thousand exhibitors while occupying more than 1 million square feet of exhibition space. The world’s largest bicycle industry trade show revolves around the bike - equally as a popular recreational product and as a practical means of transportation. The considerably expanded grounds of Messe Friedrichshafen now include a total of 14 halls, in addition to the east and west open-air exhibition grounds. Over 30,000 trade visitors and 1,200 journalists from around the world are expected to attend.

E-Bikes highlighted

E-bikes are becoming increasingly popular for every type of use - from comfortable bicycles for everyday shopping to touring bikes for long-distance journeys or sporty bikes for racing to work. EUROBIKE will offer the entire international range of brands and 2010 products, in addition to a complete overview of the e-bike market.

Michelin at the show

The show will see the launch of the all-new MICHELIN Wild range for mountain bikes. Today, mountain biking is way for people to get away from it all, discover the outdoors and stretch their limits. From a simple ride in the woods to the most extreme sports, mountain biking covers an array of activities. Michelin will take advantage of the gigantic Eurobike show to unveil a complete range of tires equipped with the latest innovations: the MICHELIN Advanced and MICHELIN Descent, both of which integrate unique technologies. The tires are designed for different types of terrain and conditions of use.

As for road bikes, visitors will discover the MICHELIN Lithon2 range of extra-light touring bike tires that increase grip by 25%.

Other new Michelin innovations for 2010 will include the MICHELIN Pro Optimum to extend the Michelin Pro3 lineup, a new color for the Pro3 range and a new inner tube for urban use that gives even greater freedom to city dwellers who use alternative modes of transportation.
