I thought I just in my usual morning daze. Coming in to work, I'm on a 2 lane road approaching a green light when the 2 cars ahead of me(a Mustang and an FSP, side by side) both slow to 15mph. I takes me a sec to realize these idiots are TALKING TO EACH OTHER and slowing the entire road down just for their conversation!! :eek: ( I think about 4-5 cars were stacking up behind them) Then 1 turns while ther other speeds up and runs the red light(which started to turn yellow mid-conversation)! Of course, I missed the light. (Guess I'm not a good HM'er since I didn't blow the red for the sake of mileage!:D)

I had a similar experience except the two cars weren't in motion. I'm at a stop sign, cross traffic doesn't stop, and across from me is a mini-van stopped at the other stop sign and beside the van is another mini-van on my side of the road talking to the person at the stop sign. There was some cross traffic so I think 'no big deal, I'm sure they'll move before I have to cross the street'. No, traffic clears, I cross the intersection and the van makes no attempt to move. I lay on my horn and they finally decide they should move and the lady driving the mini-van at the stop sign gives me a crappy look as I drive by. Apparently they expected me to sit in the intersection until they were done talking.

I find that to be the most disturbing and annoying thing anyone could do.

I've actually been sitting at a stoplight at a crossroads, with a car in front of me and an SUV in front of the car. The first car in the oncoming traffic direction was a Lincoln Navigator blinged out with a line of cars behind him and we were all waiting for the light to turn green. Keep in mind when it goes green it's a very short green light.

The light turns green and MR. SUV in front of me pulls up next to the Lincoln Nav. ..which didn't move yet...and they were....YACKING!! Unbelievable! With lines of cars waiting! They did this for a good ten seconds...but that was almost all the light stayed green for.

Didn't you know, they're better than you because they drive a land elephant on wheels. Of course, we're the selfish ones because we "impede" traffic by driving courteously and close to the psl.

Maybe he needed directions to the gas station.
