Hey everyone--
I often check MSN's website on current gas prices (http://autos.msn.com/everyday/GasStations.aspx?m=1&l=1&zip=45227&x=18&y=6), since it relies on OPIS data instead of volunteered info that isn't always updated often/correctly. Anyway, posted just above the gas price map is a list of links to what purports to be the Top 5 fuel-efficient vehicles. Conspicuously absent is the Civic Hybrid, which would be #3. If you visit the story (http://autos.msn.com/advice/article.aspx?contentid=2885) you must read all the way through to learn that the article had been written before the EPA published FE ratings for the HCHII -- which means the article was published and has been posted for well over a year now.
Now, I must say my objection is mild, but shouldn't a page specifically tailored for people concerned with fuel prices at least accurately reflect the leading technologies for reducing fuel consumption? I think it's irresponsible of MSN to continue to post information (prominently) that is so hopelessly out of date. Am I a nut job, or does anyone else agree? --RN
