The second body configuration resembles a pickup truck that includes a contracted enclosed passenger space and an open cargo area behind the contracted enclosed passenger space.

Gary, I thought another company did something similar 5 or 6 years ago. Not sure who or when, but I could have sworn I saw a commerical for such a vehicle.

Yea, this one looks like the Freestyle instead of a SUV. People will more than likely ask the new owner's if they got change for a buck also. Ford probably thinks it's a new idea their engineer's just came up with though.

Also, I'm seeing alot of new hybrid patents for Ford to be changing their goal to more flex fuel vehicles. Many are geared for AWD drivetrains. It maybe that they are continuing with flex fuel hybrids.
