What is the best Low Rolling Resistance Tire for the Insight 1? I noticed from Wayne's recent article that the new Michelin for example is not available in 165/65-14.

Those things were born and bred to roll albeit while sacrificing some other "stuff" ;) Rumors about the RE92’s having a lower RRc than the Bridgestone B381’s have circulated for years and if so, you are talking about a tire (only the OEM Insight sized RE92’s) with an RRc of around .005x which is simply unheard of in the OEM business. ___Michelin was very careful in their portrayal of the Energy Savers in comparison to the Ecopia’s although the Ecopia’s are supposed to have an RRc lower than that of the B381’s and possibly the RE92’s! ___Good Luck ___Wayne jimepting 06-17-2009, 09:44 PM I just looked at my tires. I was convinced that at 57,000 miles they would have been changed. But no - I still have the original RE92's with lots of tread left. Apparently they wear pretty well. I have noticed that the RE92's don't have a very high level of grip. Decidedly lower than the Toyo's I race on;) Right Lane Cruiser 06-17-2009, 10:02 PM Grip? Just up the PSI. ;) vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
