I bought my Insight II on April 17 and ever since I have been trying to score a 60mpg average on either leg of my drive to or from work. Well today I got some breaks, weather was overcast, 72 degrees and calm. Caught a couple of nasty lights green and lucked out with traffic.

30 miles
50% urban 35-40mph psl
50% highway 55mph psl
End Result - 61.4mpg :woot:

msirach - Thanks I may take you up on that offer. I'm actually about 100 miles away from you, up closer to Belleville. But I have been looking for an excuse for a road trip to see what this car can really do. Right now I find my biggest mpg waster is my right foot. For some reason I'm having a tough time convincing it patience is a virtue.
